The Nissan-based taxi is London's first electric taxi since the Bersey Taxi in the late 1890s.
UK-based Dynamo has unveiled London's first all electric taxi for 120 years.
The vehicle, based on Nissan's e-NV200 Evalia MPV, is the first to be approved by Transport for London for use as a 'Hackney Carriage' and has been adapted to be fully wheelchair accessible while having the ability to carry five passengers. The conversion work was carried out at Dynamo's Coventry HQ.
It also comes with Nissan’s eight year/100,000 mile battery warranty, with a five year/60,000 mile warranty on EV dedicated components, and three-year/60,000 mile general warranty. The Nissan e-NV200 lithium battery warranty protects against capacity loss below nine bars of capacity (out of 12) for a period of eight years or 100,000 miles as well. Parts modified by Dynamo are covered by Dynamo’s own three year/60,000 mile warranty.
